My lunch box with love

It's been quite sometime since the last time I got the chance to bring lunch-box to work. Love the idea but always on the rush to prepare it during normal days. Therefore, I'm always looking forward to my mom's visit which usually allow me with this opportunity-lunch-box with love.

Gulam Mee: Spot to hang-out

An adult, but I'm still bound to curfews. One of it, is that I have to be home before 12 midnight (or my car would turn back to pumpkin ?! haha) Anyway, I have nothing against such rules after all it's for good than harm. So, when I have like 2 more hours to go before the curfew starts and I need to meet a colleague for an important discussion (well, it is SO excited the news that we can't wait till tomorrow), this joint is the place I have in mind based on these criteria:

1. It's just 10 minutes  drive from home
2. It's a vibrant place, well light-up, with ample seating and loads of people (it's not quiet with dim-light and just a couple of patrons that is)
3. It won't close-down on us while we are still in discussion  ( It'd still remain open even after 12 but not that I exactly know when they close, never got the chance to stay beyond that, remember)
4. It has varieties of food and drinks and most of important of all
5. As an extra bonus points; it happen to be right in between of where my colleague that I'm meeting up and myself lives.

So, should you also looking for such place to hang-out, chose Gulam Mee in Kota Damansara.

'Kuaci' attack

Working Sunday

Am usually not a 'weekender-employee' nor 'working-on-sunday-people' as my weekends have always meant for family and related activities revolving around 'family', so when there comes a time that I need to 'work' on Sunday, it better be good!! Hopefully these percentage elements would succesfully lead me 'somewhere' in the near future.

Lumut to Kuala Lumpur via Teluk Intan route

Setiawan-the old town

Marina: New Island in Lumut

New jetty in Lumut

Curry Noodle in Bidor

I was on my working trip to Lumut from Kuala Lumpur. The first half of my journey was through North-South Expressway where I have to exit Bidor in order to continue for the next half of the journey. I did not chose the coastal Kuala Selangor road eventhough *Wazy's given advice that it would be the shortest route as I find the road is too rough if you need to speed. Anyway, right after I exited the Bidor toll, after taking my right turn heading towards the town of Bidor, I immediately noticed that there're lots of cars laying-by on both sides of the road and there's this particular stall was quite crowded with people. I remember that it was a similar setting as my previous trip. Which resulted to the instant decision of making a stop and hurry off to the stall-Mee Kari Ramli.

The stall basically serving a variety of noodle-based dishes and the top-selling one would be the curry noodle or 'mee kari' (as shown in pics). Having a bowl of it, all that I could say. "you should give it a try!". A very good blend of the spices, good portion of garnished-the fishballs, been sprout etc but it may be a bit too spicy for those who are not really into spicy food (but there's always the clear-soup version for you to choose from), but as a whole, IT IS a good one.  ;)

Architecture Detail: Going Green

I dunno about other people, but it's been a habit of mine not to just see what lies in front of you, but I usually get a 360 degree view all around including these sets of interesting ceiling made of rough timber plank.

Inexperienced organizer or unsupportive facilities

The Venue: kompleks rakan muda (national youth complex), klang
The Event: taekwando competition for children age 7 to 15

Comments so far:
1. Insufficient parking space.
2. insufficient space for spectators mostly parents and family
Verdict:Should the organizer think in advance perhaps, they could advice school to arrange for transportation and send early reminder that parents/family should not attend. BUT what's a sport without spectators?

Dire state of the complex due to lacking of maintenance which clearly witnessed by these faulty services/facilities:
1. Most of the toilet is not functional and no cleaner were available to take care of the mass consumption for the event
2. Walkways are broken/detached from its foundation/building
3. Floors/walls are indicative of no periodic maintenance
4. Cafetaria without sufficient chairs/tables

I'm damn bored!!and pissed off..
