every nooks and cranny that these feet steps on...but it's not much really on the destinations, it's about the journey..

A Mad Monday Rush
It seems to be a start to a very peaceful day, the dawn is making its way for more sun-rays emitting more light to brighten up the skies. I'm glad everything went smooth this morning, the traffic, everything..and I even have ample time to enjoy a cuppa of black coffee while waiting for my engineer to turn up. We are carpooling today for another visit to Benta.
Oh yeah, Benta revisiting - and it better be good! Or else, I'm gonna make the life of whoever sets me to go there as miserable as mine gonna be later in the afternoon.
Anyway, as I anticipated, the whole inspection wasn't satisfactory. I can't believe some people would waste other people's time like this. Anyway, I've exceeded my own pre-allocated time, so due to that I have to make a rush back to KL.
Driving a little bit faster than the leisure drive this morning, I have less than 3hrs to make things happen for the 'birthday girl'. I have to make a mad rush back to deliver the CAKE to where it belong on April 11th. It was seriously mad drive - I know I should not be doing this but as of then, I don't have the choice. Anyway, I made in in time - and it was an honour to capture the moment 'princess being speechlees' ..he he
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Darling Princess Anne!

Benta revisited..
Another morning trip to Benta. You have to be early, in order to be able to escape from being stuck in the morning-madness of Bukit Lanjan-Duta stretch. Previously, I just have to make sure that I clock-in at Kota Damansara by 7am, so that I could still be trevelling smoothly along the route. Plus, it is a better option to have your smart tag or touch&go card if travelling via any hiway in Kuala Lumpur especially if you plan to 'compete' with all working people during the rush hour - it definitely saves you, some precious time! But, this morning I was late - reach Kota Damansara at 7.15 which means I would be 'crawling' to get through the Duta toll..Hey, it ain't that bad since I managed to reach Gombak by 8am, thanks to DUKE (it's the only highway in Malaysia, that I felt worth paying RM2.00 for each entry!)
The journey was smooth, chit-chatting all the way with my engineer takes the 'distance' away. I hope everything could be finalize and resolved by today as I can't linger around in Benta for the whole day. It is going to be a mad-rush to another appointment at Putrajaya in the late afternoon, so I don't intend to turn myself mad and I would love to avoid driving to places in such rushing mode..
p.s. I have snapped more photos of Benta, will upload it once I found time to do it ;)

Final trip to Benta?
Driving my way through the morning mist, hoping this would be my last visit to Benta as I can't imagine visiting this town without any sane reasons.. This tiny town of which occupies 500meter radius from its town center basically stands for a very basic living of rural people, with laid-back lifestyle and nothing-to-rush-for activities.

The lone town of Benta
Benta: is actually a very small town north of Raub just 60km before you reach Lipis...the first impression given by my colleague was - its the sort of lone-communist-town! Imagine that!! Its first landmark upon turning left after the signboard of Benta, from the main trunk road is Shell petrol station on your left (going straight would lead you toKuala Lipis). Oh, the toilet facilities at the Shell Station here would be rated 4 of 5 for its cleanliness compare to any petrol station that you can find in KL) and further a few metres drive would be the Police Station on your right and immediately after that is just couple of rows of shops, community hall and a Masjid. There's no distinct architectural feature in this town, most of the shops either the basic 2 storey of 80's design or made of timber construction.
The town was subdivide by a river between the town and further community village (I'm not sure wheter it's Jelai River of ther Lipis River). If you drive further up of few meters (meters okay not kilometers here) where you could see the Petronas petrol station on your left, it means you already reach the trunk road that would lead you to Lipis - again. So, Benta is basically just that!! So, it's not a tough exercise for you to imagine how Benta looks like, eh? I promise, I snap some photos the next time I be there..
