A remarkable decade of togetherness

We have gone through a journey with series of ups and downs, laughter and tears, and today, it has marked  a decade of our togetherness. With what we have now, we are still looking forward for many more decades to come, to cherish each other till eternity. Happy Annivesary darling hubby, love you to bits.

Proud of the nation

I have not been to Tanjong Malim for the past couple of years. There seem to be quite some changes to the town since the incorporation of ETS train network through the town which segregate the town into two parts which leave the old town to such 'dead town' state. Feels sorry for those entrepreneurs over there who seems to be facing major losses to their business.

So, I'm taking the opportunity to just drive around Tanjong Malim including the 'satelite city' known as Proton City which accommodate the nation's only national car manufacturer - the Proton. Am proud with the fact that my own country is capable to produce and now design our car to be marketed all over the world. 20 years down the road, people are still sceptical of the product, but at least I would still remain strong in supporting them.

Annular eclipse of the sun

I missed it. Forgotten all about it by having a morning rush to an afternoon meeting. And all I got to do right now is just flipping through some magnificent photos of  'the event' by others. It was awesome and despite admiring it, nothing beat the feeling of not being able to witness it with my own eyes.  :(

I found some of interesting photos of the even and among it is from this site http://www.space.com/15780-photos-annular-solar-eclipse-may20-2012.html  where I've personally admire this particular photograph by Joel Dykstra where he writes: "Here are some eclipse pictures I took from my backyard in Roswell, NM with a Pentax K100 D digital SLR and some older manual telephoto lenses. I did not use any filters or special devices. These were taken between 6:45-7:30 mountain time."

Annular eclipse

I missed it! forgotten all about it!! *doink*

There are three different kind of eclipse - total, partial and annular. A total eclipse is when moon fully covers the sun - this happens somewhere in the world about once a year. A partial eclipse is when Moon appears to cover just part of the Sun. and there is annular eclipses which are the rarest - they happen about once every couple of years. The last eclipse that was visible in the UK was back in 1999. It's called an 'annular' eclipse because of the glowing outline, or 'ring of fire', that the Sun gives to the Moon.

いつか (Someday...)

Am winding down to a hectic day with this song...
Have been playing it over and over again, particularly this live version taken from the group live concert.
Why do I listen to it over and over again despite not understanding any Japanese (of course, except for arigato ) ??
Simply because; when you listen to the composition of this song is sort of lifting up your spirit, and I find the live rendering version of this song is full of depth, plus the tone of the lead singer is so mesmerizing. It was sort like I was taken deep into the 'journey', breezing through each obstacles and reaching for the skies. Owh, I seriously felt that and those translation that I found was kind of a true reflection of 'the journey' that I have taken with the song...
So, it proof that music is universal. A good composition would 'hit' you even if you don't understand the language and you get mesmerized by it.
Did you??
Anyway, enjoy it..

It is something not so 'square'

Do you believe me when I say ' a square, need not be square!'
This photo just seconded me to that. It's a clever use of space, and decorated with elements to give people enjoyment of the place. Nice !

Owh, and look at those roof tops. While some buildings in Malaysia opted to have a totally flat concrete slab roof  (perhaps, the designers forget the facts that Malaysia were blessed with heavy rainfall) these roofs were still making use of mansard style and still get away looking good. It ain't so 'country looking' at all!
Well, a self reminder again.  :)

Super Luna

The full moon were at its closest distance to earth at this time of the year, which explain why it appears slightly 'bigger' than usual. However my cell-phone camera could not give justice to any good view of the night. There fore, having to come across this photo of Ms. Luna which was captured brilliantly, just made my day.

A better view by visiting  http://planetearthdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2012/05/super-luna.html

growling thunder

It's 2 am and I'm still wide awake starring into the screen: a few minutes ago I heard the growling thunder and now comes the spattering of rain drops. And the smells of cool raindrops...hmmmmphh.
It's sure going to be a very cold night. :)
