Tambun

This set of shophouses would be all there is about the tiny Tambun town which estimated of being not more than 500meters a stretch.
I wonder what significance there is for such small township to exist back in the colonial days. I have been passing through this town my entire teenage days, and these days the town has shown its signs of 'exhaustion'. If there is some interesting story behind the town, it'll be worth to dig up the history of Tambun! (So, add on to my 'cart' for ongoing task)

Have you lost Tambun?

Here I am for another weekend of the month in my hometown of Ipoh and I hope I could spend some time updating my journal..

While driving past the directional signboard, it trigger a thought - hey, Tambun has now been commercialized and it has actually lost its name - which now more famously known as Sunway City. Perhaps, rhetorically it will soon banish as  it is now known for the 'Lost World of Tambun'.. time would tell.

Being lost in Lost World of Tambun

We received complimentary tickets from my brother to Lost World of Tambun. What can I say-we are a bit lost finding the place..hehe
