I was on my way towards east-coast of peninsular, when spots of vermilion scatter upon the cirrus clouds as though making announcement of the rising sun..
every nooks and cranny that these feet steps on...but it's not much really on the destinations, it's about the journey..

Genting's peak
Driving my way west from eastbound, to this silhouette of Genting's peak. From far it seems to blend with whole mountain range..

A superfast trip to Kuantan
6:50 am depart from home, the traffic was already building up while twilight dusk is shedding off, and at 9:30am I managed to arrived safely at my meeting place with 2 pit stops along the way (toll booths not counted). Went for pre-inspection from 10:00 to 11:00am, then the meeting start at 11:15am which later end roughly around 12:45 which followed with post-meeting discussion for half an hour and everybody adjourn for lunch break.
Lunch? nothing fancy just typical afternoon lunch for Malaysians consist of white rice, a serving of vegetable, and choices of fish or chicken.Anyway, it was a quick lunch as I was expected to cover other parts of the site for post-meeting inspection. So, I made it back to my car at 2:30 and drove off for a quick refuelling and hit the hiway at 2:50pm. Managed to reach the final exit of East-Coast Hiway at a record time of and immediately reach for DUKE and straight into NKVE, with main target to avoid the bulging congestion at NKVE when the clock strike 5, so I managed to reach Subang Jaya at 5:05pm. For that, I reward myself a rich mochiatta coffee..yummms!!

Karak - to and fro
Karak intersection - its toll booth via east-coast highway, to and fro! It'll be the end of winding road if you are coming from Kuala Lumpur, but it will be the beginning of it - if you are arriving from East! Enjoy your drive... (I do!)

Roadrunner coming home..
The visit and presentation went smooth...too drained-out, and so glad that I can finally be heading for home...
The weather has been gloomy since yesterday and it's still the same today..

Life as a 'roadrunner;
I hate last minute pile-up of meetings - it mess up my life, but it's the chosen path which means I have to bear with it, no matter what. Blessing from love ones did raise you up when you are feeling low!
As usual, I would be on the move early in the morning - well, I think it's not really a big fuss if you were to compare with primary school children whom also would be traveling at the same hour like myself, but for a 9 to 6 people, this is early!
Anyway, it was a wet morning and it's drizzling through out the entire journey - reach Kuantan in record time of 3hrs drive due to the wet weather ( it was usually a 2 hrs drive ) The whole time, the car screen was showing a 23deg celcius - cool!!
It was still drizzling even later in the afternoon, which left me with no option rather than to get through with it. The scenery in Gambang-breathtaking! it help me to loose the tense of getting the presentation completed for tomorrow...

Getting to know the highway to Kuantan
For the past 3 years, for the record, I think I have been traveling back-and-forth KL-Kuantan for a record that has surpassed my hubby whom was once a Kuantan denizen! Of course the hiway is not as good as NKVE catering KL-Ipoh route, but it's still better than 10 years ago where it takes almost 5hrs to reach KL (now, I usually make it around 2hrs - toll to toll) Hey, for a 250km journey, I'm not really speeding my way, but occasionally I have to speed up to avoid monotonous boredom of driving alone.
